You can be allergic
to anything: food, drinks, prescription drugs, over-the counter
drugs, illicit drugs, herbs, vitamins, tap water, purified water,
rain water, clothing, jewelry, ice, cold, heat, wind, work material,
our own body secretions, body organs, chemical, formaldehyde,
building materials (sick building syndrome), pints, pressed wood,
naturally seen plant enzymes terpenes or phenolics, baldheads,
acetaldehydes, synthetically made additives), silica, silicone,
latex, plastics, synthetic fibers and products, pollens, grassed,
trees, wood and wood work, etc. Undiagnosed allergies can produce
symptoms, illnesses, and even chronic disease.
You may suffer from : asthma,
emphysema, chronic lung disorders, addictions ( to alcohol, caffeine,
drugs, tobacco, sugars, carbohydrates, fats), arthritis, candida,
yeast problems, parasitic infestation, chronic fatigue, immune
disorders, tumors, cancer, premenstrual disorders (PMS), menopausal
disorders, hormonal imbalances, infertility, eye disorders, prostate
troubles, migraines, headaches, pediatric problems, ear infections,
attention deficit disorders, autism, hyperactivity, mental disorders,
anxiety, depression, digestive disorders, circulatory disorders,
sleep irregularity, chemical sensitivity, nutritional disorders,
restless leg syndrome, skin ailments, genito-urinary disorders,
and various emotional imbalances, etc.
Science and technology have altered the life-style of mankind
enormously. The reactions and diseases arising from responses
to these changes are also very different. Our quality of life
has improved from these scientific achievements: yet, these same
scientific accomplishments have become everlasting nightmares
for some allergic patients.
Technology is becoming more pervasive
over time. It will always be with us. But allergic patients must
find way to overcome adverse reactions to new chemicals and other
allergens created by the new technology they are exposed to.
Even though it requires a series of detailed treatments, NAET
offers the prospect of relief to people who suffer from constant
allergic reactions and “incurable" disease.

Various allergic reactions can be grouped according to the clinical
manifestations of the person with allergies.
1. People suffering from food allergies:

They have no seasonal symptoms, but suffer from varying numbers
of unusual or unpleasant physical, physiological or emotional
symptoms whenever they eat a food item to which they are sensitive
(for example, egg, mild, fruits, wheat, sugar, raisins, fish,
oils, fats, spices, nuts, etc.)
2. People suffering from chemical allergies through external
sources:

They have no unusual symptoms if they do not come in contact
with any chemical. They can be happy and healthy when they live
in a natural environment surrounded by natural life, eating organically
grown, unprocessed food. But, whenever they come near or in contact
with any chemicals they are sensitive to, they suffer from a
varying number of unusual or unpleasant physical, physiological,
or emotional symptoms. Chemicals from city water, synthetic fabrics,
fabrics softeners, detergents, hair products, fungicides, pesticides,
herbicides, food grown with artificial fertilizers, prescription
drugs (antibiotics, pain relieving medication), vitamins, herbal
supplements, massage oils, insect bites, cleansing agents, formaldehyde,
cosmetic products, personal protective equipments(latex gloves,
masks), hospital supplies *oxygen tubes, rubber or plastic catheters,
surgical instruments, surgical sutures, hospital cleaning agents,
disinfectants, anesthetics, drugs), dental materials and equipments,
food additives, artificial food coloring, newspaper inks, paper
products, hydrocarbons, perfumes, gasoline, exhausts, tobacco
smoke, plastic products, light and radiation from different sources,
etc., can cause allergic reactions.
3. People suffering from chemical allergies from internal sources:

This group of people reacts to their own body secretions (sweat,
urine, feces, mucous, semen, tears and saliva), body parts (hair
and nails), different organs (stomach, spleen, lungs, kidney,
liver, heart, brain, etc.). The body’s defense mechanism is derailed,
and the body makes antibodies against its own tissues and/or
fluids. The immune system attacks the body that it inhabits,
which eventually causes damage or alteration to its own cells,
tissues, organs and functions. Such damage results in cancer,
abnormal tissue growths and tumors, kidney failure, organ failure,
hearing loss, poor vision, heart attacks, liver failure, cataract,
adrenal depletion, diabetes, thyroid malfunction, etc.
4. People suffering from pollen and natural environmental allergies:

These people have frequent tearing from the eyes, sneeze, wheeze,
have asthma and other upper respiratory disturbances, suffer
from fatigue, irritability and hay-fever symptoms during pollen
season (pollens from weeds, trees, flowers, and grassed), allergic
o cotton, natural materials, but feel reasonably well fro the
rest of the year if they avoid nature and products made from
natural substances.
5. People suffering from only environmental allergies:

This group suffers from allergies to all the chemical factors,
pesticides, and environmental substances like pollens, grasses,
weeds, wood, tree, flowers, sand, precious stones, dirt, dust
and insects, etc. They do not react to nutrients or to food without
chemicals. They can eat organic foods without any chemical involvement.
But if the food is prepared in plastic containers, or if any
food coloring or additive containing unnatural items is present,
they have allergic reactions. As long as they wear or use 100%
cotton, silk or any natural fabrics, they function well. If they
use any synthetic materials like polyester, acrylic or other
such materials, they become nonfunctional.
6. People suffering from allergies to animals and other humans:

These
people have no allergies to food, drinks or the materials around
them. They react to the electromagnetic energy of other living
beings, which makes them allergic to other human beings, like
their mother, father, spouse, brother, sister, children, partners,
employee and employer. They can also have allergies to pets,
cats, dogs, insects, bees, ants, etc.
7. People with emotional allergies:

The people in this group have allergies to actions and interactions
of everyday life: thoughts or feelings (fear, anger, self-esteem,
creativity, power, self-worth, inferiority, superiority, etc.):
concepts: (“I can never get healthy.", "I can never lose weight."
or "I can never make enough money." etc.); a memory of a certain
incidence: (nightmares, fear or anxiety while driving due to
a memory of a highway auto accident that happened 10 years ago);
emotions like hating jobs or obsessions with careers (teaching,
acting, cooking, gardening, writing, etc.) and interactions (fighting
with co-workers, classmates, boss or teachers). Some people enjoy
going against rules and regulations, acting against the norm
in situations or disobeying authorities (running red lights when
the police are not watching, etc.)
8. People with combination allergies:

This group of people reacts to what seems to be an infinite
number of combinations of food, pollens, chemicals, other humans,
animals, thoughts, memories and concepts.
9. People who are universal reactors:

This group has multiple chemical sensitivities
and suffers from server reactions to all of the above allergens.
These people suffer from sever allergies, sensitivities, and
many other health problems. They are grouped as ecologically
and environmentally ill. Ecological illness is the result of
adverse reactions to substance in the air, water, food, living,
environment, work environments, and chemicals. They do not feel
safe anywhere. They can suffer from varied, chronic symptoms
of any and every organ or system of the body. These are the people
who would be better off living in a protective “bubble."
